LightCatcherSolar designs and manufactures high-quality solar modules as well as complementing components such as controllers, connectors, cables, etc. We also partner with the industries top companies to provide turn-key solutions to our customers. As of 2015, over one hundred thousand LightCatcher Solar modules have been installed around the globe with heavy presence in the United States, Canada, Germany, Spain, and Turkey.
OUR TEAM:
The LightCatcher-Solar family currently conducts business in our 22,000 square feet facility in California. Our diverse team consists of members with varies backgrounds ranging from Engineers to Material Scientists to machinists. Our self sufficient plant allows us to better control our quality and deliver customers consistently reliable solar products. We have also partnered with over 120 of the biggest names in their respective industries for services such as testing, raw material, etc..
MEET THE LEADERSHIP:
Dr. Thomas Schulze
FOUNDER & CEO
Dr. Thomas Schulze found LightCatcher Solar Corp. in June 2001 is still involved in various leadership positions within Engineering, Operations and Business Development. Prior to finding LightCatcher Solar Corp. Dr. Schulze worked at SolAero where he lead multiple engineering teams in developing solar panels and cells for the space industry. Dr. Schulze holds a PhD in physics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida. He has published over 32 journal articles and holds three U.S. patents.
Sammy Czech
DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING
Sam Czech co-founded LightCatcher Solar and currently serves as Director of Engineering and Product Development. In this position, Mr. Czech is responsible for the Engineering, Manufacturing, and sourcing of all products across the solar cell and solar panel product lines. His professional career began with Vishay as a Power Supply Design Engineer. He later joined SolAero Technologies as a Solar Cell Device Engineer and progressed through various leadership roles. Mr. Czech holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University, with a focus in Power Electronics and Devices.
Anthony Bello
SALES AND MARKETING
Anthony is a technology management veteran with over 15 years of experience in sales, product marketing, finance, and business development management roles. Mr. Bello has an MBA in from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a BA in Economics from UC Berkeley.
